It’s embarrassing, actually. Reading that, it is easy to see that it is a lame attempt to discredit a reputable company while promoting their own interests.
One of the claims is that Regal Assets created fake reviews in order to make their company more appealing than other gold IRA companies.
If this were true, it’d be quite a story (and, a bit disappointing). But, after reading that article, I called Regal Assets to get their side and spoke very briefly with Tyler Gallagher, CEO of Regal Assets. Tyler assured me that all the reviews were real and that they just had very happy customers who are happy to leave a review on a site like TrustLink. He also said that he had been in touch with TrustLink regarding this issue and provided them the names and contact info of every single person who wrote a review so that TrustLink could verify them. If you visit Regal Asset’s TrustLink page, you’ll see the number of reviews increasing due to this.
What’s even more appalling is American Bullion’s claims of Regal Assets’ fudging their TrustLink reviews (with no proof whatsoever) while their employees post positive reviews on Yelp for their own business and negative reviews of Regal Assets (UPDATE: Yelp has now removed these reviews by Brian M.). Brian M. (Brian Meert – LinkedIn) is actually American Bullion’s Director of Digital Marketing. Does it seem right that he should be posting reviews about a direct competitor and his own business? This is not only completely unethical, it is also against Yelp’s policies.
